More on Serio Release Record Management (RFDs)

Following on an increasing demand from our customers, our development team has continued their work on improving the use of Release Records within SerioPlus. Hence, our most recent Release includes the following improvements and enhancements:

Enhancements

  • the ability to view both Active and Completed Releases within the Change Plan Diary, hence providing an overall view of all Releases injected to or to be injected into the different IT Environments

  • an improved Issue Query experience when searching for Active, Completed or Cancelled Releases associated with Open or Resolved Issues

New Reports

  • Release Record Listing with Services

This lists existing Release (RFD) Records within the system by Release Status (Active, Completed or Cancelled). The report is organised by Release and the information is displayed for each one of the existing Releases, as follows 

the RFD Reference Number

the RFD Description

the Agent who created the RFD

the scheduled Start and End Date/Time

the deployment Environment

the Progress of the RFD

whether or not an Outage is required

the Main Issue to which the RFD is associated with

the Involved Teams

the affected Item (if applicable)

affected Services

  • Release Record Listing By Service

This lists existing Release (RFD) Records within the system by affected Services. The report is organised by existing Services and displays the information separately for each one of the services, providing a quick overview of what Releases were deployed (or will be deployed) that affected (or may potentially affect) a particular Service. The information provided for each Release Record within a Service is as follows

the RFD Reference Number

the RFD Status

the scheduled Start and End Date/Time

the deployment Environment

the RFD Description

the Progress of the RFD

whether or not an Outage is required

the Main Issue to which the RFD is associated with

the Involved Teams

the affected Item (if applicable)
