Working with Serio IT Service View
Now you have set up some Devices, you can start using Serio IT Service View to monitor the Devices.

Serio IT Service View can be Online or Offline. When Online, Serio IT Service View is actively monitoring your network Devices. When Offline, you can perform configuration tasks on Serio IT Service View, such as adding new Devices. See Going Online and Offline.
Each Device you are monitoring has a Device Status indicated by a traffic light in the Serio IT Service View Display. A green traffic light indicates no problems with the Device whilst Red or Amber indicate a problem. See About Device Status and Changing the Device Status back to Green.
The Online Log contains a history of the problems detected with all Devices since the Serio IT Service View application was started – see here for more information.
Sometimes you may want stop monitoring particular Devices while continuing to monitor others, for example when conducting maintenance work. See Enabling/Disabling Devices.
Serio IT Service View can produce Web Pages that show the current Device Status and other key information about the Devices it is monitoring. See Setting Up Serio IT Service View Web Pages.
As Serio IT Service View polls Devices, it can log data samples to a file. See Logging Data to a File.
