Normally, you will monitor Windows Server using WMI (Windows Management Information). Sometimes however, this may prove impossible due to permissions or Windows domain issues. In such circumstances you can instead use SNMP and the Serio Inventory Agent to monitor the Windows server. See Using the Serio Inventory Agent When There's a Problem with WMI.
