Upgrading to Serio Release 5

1. First of all, learn about important changes in the way the different parts of Serio work when you upgrade to Release 5. Please do not skip this step.
2. Make a plan of what needs to be upgraded.
3. Next shut down Serio and then back-up your database.
4. If you have not already done so, download and store your Serio software.
5. Update the products installed on your Server machine.
6. Now you need to upgrade your database.
7. Now restart SerioServer.
8. Using the Upgrade Plan, now run setup.exe (usually for SerioClient, SerioAdmin and SerioReports as appropriate) to upgrade your client software.
9. You've now completed your upgrade. We hope you enjoy the new features we've added.
