What's different in Serio Release 5
Changes to Incoming eMail Handling
In most versions of Serio 4x, you could set the POP3 Reader to download emails from your email server and leave them there (by way of an archive). Serio R5 only offers Download and Delete - no other option. You can still maintain an archive if you wish, but to do that now you need to configure your email server to forward a copy of every email coming in to your support account to another (archive) account - for example, support_archive@mycompany.com.
If your email account has emails backed-up there that Serio has already read you must delete these emails before using the upgraded Serio eMail Router.
Customisation Applied Using SerioScribe
If you've applied customisation to Serio using SerioScribe, please be aware that the upgrade process will delete all of this customisation. We simply were not able to apply this customisation data to Release 5. What we suggest you do is make a note of the changes you've made prior to the upgrade, and re-apply them afterwards.
