Contract Management

Serio provides both Customer Contract Management and Supplier Contract Management helping your business handle both your customers and 3rd party suppliers providing services to you.

Customer Contract Management

SerioPlus helps you manage the contracts you have with your Customers. For example, you may have a Support Contract with one of your Customers to provide technical support for server computers within their Company.

Within Serio Customer Contract Management, you can,

  • Record the start and expiry dates of the Support Contract.

  • Record which Software or Hardware Items are covered by the Support Contract.

  • When working on an Issue in SerioClient, see if the Customer has a valid current Support Contract, when it expires, and which Items are covered by it.

  • Estimate the value of the Support Contract by adding up the support charges for the individual hardware or software Items it covers. For example, if you are providing support for a number of server computers, the value of the Support Contract would be estimated by adding up the support charges for each server. For a Support Contract covering software, the estimate would be based on the number of licenses.

Supplier Contract Management

Serio lets you record details of the Support Contracts that you have with your Suppliers.

For example, you may have a Support Contract with a third party hardware Supplier who provides technical support for desktop computers or printers within your company. Or you may have a Support Contract with a software supplier who provides support for key production systems in your company, such as a CRM system or database server.

Serio Supplier Contract Management allows you to:

  • Record the Support Contracts that you have with third party Suppliers, including the Start and Expiry dates and cost of the Contract.

  • Record the Hardware and Software Items covered by the Support Contract.
