Monitoring local device

After installing Service View I add the local device using the windows 2003/2008 server plugin (best fit supplied plugin), I then test the WMI connection and am unable to connect and get this error message - vStar encountered an error in obtaining WMI data from Device

Check the Additional info below for more details about the Exception or Error

TWMIUtils : EOleException : User credentials cannot be used for local connections : SELECT * FROM Win32_OperatingSystem.

WMI requires you to use a full stop for the username

Hi there

If monitoring the local machine, then you need to supply a full stop as a username for WMI.
