Error when going Online

Hi,

I'm trying to test IT Service View. But when I setup a new Device and try to go online, there is always the same error message:

An error has occurred: Serio encountered an error in compiling part of your Plugin.

Suggested remedy: The 'additional information' below may help you to resolve the problem. It will show the MIB Module name and Script name, and well as an indication of the compilation error.

Additional information: IT Service View Windows
Windows 2003/2008 Server
Error Line 20

compileUserFuncScript : TOnlineScriptManager : TValidationManager

It dosen't matter if I setup the device with WMI or SNMP.
Did I make any mistake?

Installation issue

This problem turned out to be an installation issue. Specifically, the import of Plugins done on the 1st run was failing (thanks to user Ted above).

To fix this, I've added compiled plugins into the ITSV distribution, as of now. This means it doesn't really matter any more if the import fails or not, the Plugins are already there.

If you are affected by this problem, you can simply de-install Service View, download the latest version, and re-install.

We use a screen sharing tool called Glance
http://www.glance.net

If you have your own screen sharing tool I can use that.

If at all possible I'd like to have a look and see what is going on. Thanks.
