After I install Service View on a Windows Server 2003 R2 box and try to open it, i get the following error "Error: Access Violation at 0x77E61A23 (tried to write to 0x00C30ED0), program terminated."
Did you download the software from our site? If so, it will be the most recent version. If not, you should download the version here.
An error on startup could be a problem with the copy protection used in the package, which does throw funnies from time to time.
However, it could be a problem with the process of loading the plugins.
We can find out which of the two it is this way. Find the directory in which the ITServiceView.exe file is installed. In there, you will find a file called 'SerioCC.ini'.
Check the file for strings as follows. If you *don't* find them, then add them.
[UpgradeInfo]
UpgradeVer=5.04.01
This will abort the normal plugin import routines. Don't worry though. The up-to-date plugins will be there if you downloaded from us.
A couple of things

Let me know if this fixes things,
